Can the repo be installed?

And also what do the crystal repo contain apart from the Crystall apps?

The Crystal repo contains only things we need to ship, e.g., our software and anything that requires our branding (grub, for example)

As for chaotic-aur, the repository can be installed normally using the instructions they provide on their website, however we do not officially support it, for more infrormation on this decision, you could read the comments in the relevant RFC:

To expand on @Michal S.'s answer, we try to minimize the size of our repos, both so that the experience is closer to normal Arch, and to reduce the strain on our Distribution team (myself included!)
