can pamac be installed?

It conflicts with gnome software which is a dependant of onyx.
Gnome software search is barely functional and I find pamac overall just better.

We don't plan on ever officially supporting pamac, so we cannot support any issues potentially caused by using it

If you are 100% sure you want to install pamac, and understand the consequences of doing so you can force-remove gnome-software by running the following:

sudo pacman -Rsdd gnome-software

Just to reiterate, we do not support the use of pamac on Crystal systems, you are on your own

I've seen the general consensus in arch is "pamac bad"

I have no issue with the terminal but i like the simplicity of gui package manager

So, is there any modern gui app that can do both flatpak and repo stuff?

Does the same apply to Octopi?

Just wondering as it uses a completely different set of dependencies IIRC.

Fine with using the console apps but I detest Gnome Software and prefer Appimage over Flatpak...

Octopi is available in the AUR, and as such installable using ame

Naturally, being GNOME focused we'd recommend Gnome Software, however I understand it's not everyone's favourite or first choice
