Vilkheim What sound drivers should I install? As I have installed crystal recently and for the moment it does every thing great, just need some sound. Just to state though, I love the look of onyx.
Michal S. Vilkheim Sound should work by default (just make sure you have pipewire and pipewire-pulse installed) What headphones and or speakers are you using? Do they connect through a 3.5mm Jack or through USB?
Vilkheim Michal S. I checked and pipewire was not installed, so went ahead and installed it. But I am unable to find pipewire-pulse. additionally I went to the settings to check and noticed it is displaying dummy output. I checked and saw articles about this on arch and manjaro, so will check it out and revert back if I find a solution... or if I don't I guess.
Vilkheim Hi Machal, i was honestly not expecting a reply so quickly, wow thanks. So I am using the 3.5mm Jack, but even on the laptop that I am using I am not receiving any sound. will install pipewire and revert back in a few.
Vilkheim Ok, took me some time to respond as IRL kept me in a dungeon. But found 2 solutions. First most practical solution was to just do a clean install. The second solution was just to just start the pipewire service after install.
